Military Aviation A forum for the professionals who fly military hardware. Also for the backroom boys and girls who support the flying and maintain the equipment, and without whom nothing would ever leave the ground. All armies, navies and air forces of the world equally welcome here.

On the Rotorheads page is another variant, with endplates on the horizontal stabiliser, and a stab bar fitted under the main rotorhead. Strange - wonder which was the first version? Perhaps this one.

This video might aid in figuring out the many variations of the XH, YH, and H-1A....and later the UH-1A. B. C, and M models. (All short Cab models)

Later Bell came up with the Huey Tug which would pick up a lot more weight than the standard B/C/M aircraft.
