Ex Puff the Magic Dragon

A few too many beers and I'm sure some will be tempted. Maybe a slice of cake or the odd spliff.
I guess the CDT teams will be busy following detachments to Canada.....

Didn't they sometimes call the C130 based gunships "Puff the Magic Dragon"? Given this is the Military forum I'd assumed that's what the OP was about...

I believe the "Puff" nickname began with the AC47. I know the AC130 was called "Spectre" , or was that it's callsign???

In country it went by the name "Spooky", though it also went by the name "Puff, the Magic Dragon", never heard that appellation used in country though. Only saw it in action once, scored 150 who were trying to come through the base wire one night, quite a show.

That's probably what I was thinking of - faulty memory. At any rate the Puff title had me thinking of a gun ship, not Mary Jane
Besides, legal marijuana is old hat around here - heck there are at least 4 legal marijuana outlets within walking distance of where I live (along Hiway 99 they are as common as fast food places).
Had to laugh - stopped at a rest stop along I-70 in western Colorado on a recent trip. On a corner near to the rest stop, there was a gun store, convenience store, Subway sandwich shop, and a marijuana outlet. You could pickup a gun, beer, pot, and a sandwich all in one stop
