RAF St Mawgan
I am trying to find any information about my dad who was at RAF St Mawgan from around 1959 to 1963, he was Wing Cmdr Fred Houghton I believe in 201 squadron. He has passed away now but I'm keen to find out anything I can about him and his time there, esp during the cuban crisis. I of course knew nothing of it then as I was 8 or 9, but I remember him being quite preocupied with something around that time. Anyone that knew him or can give any info on St Mawgan at that time, I would love to hear from you.
Thanks

Odds on certainty that someone from the Shackleton Association will remember your Dad...

...and since you will be dealing with retirees and enthusiasts might be a bit more expedient than people for whom the task will be a secondary duty.
Anyway, two good leads for you to chase up...good luck
