A decimal dot here, a million quid there..

Not sure what'd happen to us if we made a mistake like this one made to AFPS.

The point in my mind, was that if there were professional trustees guaranteeing proper, independent oversight, this error would have been less likely to have arisen. As it is, with respect, we have retired senior officers, civil servants and well meaning charitable representatives. A packet of FOI data that had to be posted to me, shows how proposed disadvantageous changes to AFPS, eight years or so, progressed unhindered because the scrutiny wasn't robust enough.
