As I understand it, reflectors don't really work against a high power laser. Mirrors are neither perfect or universal across all the frequencies a laser could be at.
There is also the problem of dirt or dust, plus the problem that any degradation of the mirror will be exponential.

The dirt/dust problem may not be that much of a snag, my 2015 vintage car has automatic headlight cleaning, F1 drivers have rip off visors. Surely L-M can come up with a cheap solution....Oh bu&&er, I put L-M and cheap in the same sentence.
