Plane fans can bid for classic collection of post-war planes*at Bonhams Goodwood | Daily Mail Online

The lottery tickets bought, fingers & toes are crossed .... Just need to get someone to teach me to fly em lol....

Joking apart, shame to see the collection broken up.

Having closed Newquay to move back to Coventry, does this mean two sets of people will be knocking on the local job centres doors?

Vulcan To The Sky Club has been selling tickets for a 'Club visit to Classic Air Force Coventry' on 13 Sep 2015, which advertised 'This fantastic chance to see behind the scenes of the UK's largest fleet of classic jets and speak with their custodians and pilots.......'

I cant' imagine that the atmosphere will be particularly happy if the jets have been flogged off the previous day....

I can't help but wonder how many will be departing these shores for foreign climes.

I always fancied a Strikemaster myself, rather nice one here for 115,000 Euros. Even has live ejection seats.
