JG & PB also, 'cos they were good. I saw them display a lot as I flew the spare for them a fair bit. Crowds always loved it.
(So SB,you must have 'squipped for me too. Ta !)
FG & MP were very good too.

Dumbass question time.
On a Tornado display sortie, what does the Nav actually do? I guess he/she ensures the jet gets to the right grid reference at the right time, but what then? I can't imagine they're working the weapons systems (of whatever variant), and the navigating bit's been done.
I'm just curious, not looking to be an arse.

Roadster280,
Sorry, just spotted that no one has answered your question. Think about a nav in a rally car and it's a good starting point. The Nav commentates the sequence, calls out check heights and cross checks them. Does timing and confirms alignments with respect to runway, display line, crowd line and other features. basically never stops talking
.
Just in case you all think I've gone soft, the Nav then carries the pilot's bag, makes tea, drives him to the hotel and buys him beers and cleans his flying boots.

Courtney Mil - Are you absolutely sure about the Nav/WSO cleaning the boots? Outside of the Reds, I can't think of too many pilots with shiny footwear...
