The removal from service of the F3 was a knee jerk reaction that even today may well come back to haunt us...imo.

Onceapilot (your #5)

Scots Corner is the junction of the A1 and the A66. It is pretty well on the extended centre line of 16 at Leeming, but some 10 statute miles North.

just another jocky (your #7, pic 2),

Now that's what I call a trolley acc !

BFPO47 felt like that at times
At the risk of yet another thread drift in favour of Kingston's finest, does anyone know if the BBC documentary that was made early eighties during one of the Hazel Flute or such other deployments is available anywhere on t'Web thing?
An epic performance by 'Zippy' at the deployment 'show'

Well as there is a WIWOL post, how about one for the other English Electric twin jet?

Seeing as Grandfather was responsible for doing Safety and parachutes etc for the Canberra and Lightnings at Binbrook in the late 60s.
