Britain "spied on Argentina" Shock!

The latest revelation from Edward Snowden is that British agents conducted espionage against Argentina! So we spied on a vicious dictatorship which tortured and murdered thousands of Argentinans and dumped their bodies in shallow graves, invaded British territory and periodically threatens to do so again? How beastly of us!

We can at least thank Mr Snowden for confirming taxpayers money for security services goes to good use and isn't all spent on dodgy dossiers.

They call that NEWS ?

I should hope we continue to spy on all potential enemies, and, if there is any spare capacity, also spy on our "friends".

One really hopes that the yanks eventually get their hands on him and are able to "re-educate" him as to what treason means.

Well, I have mixed feelings about whether its really treason

I'm even less convinced that our Constitutional rights have been protected.

If you NEED to get the intelligence from a US citizen, then get the d**n warrant from the the FISA court or where ever if comes from. This vacuum cleaner approach is total BS.

I'm still puzzled as to what all the fuss is about.
The NSA and GCHQ et al are wound around the Internet like a vine around a tree.
They hoover up everything.
Seems kind of common sense really...

I think that we should be forever in debt to Snowden, the service he has provide has been a revelation.

Without Snowden we would had no idea how many naive fruit loops are out there.
