I wonder how long until the first pongo's upon digging a trench, will it be before they realise there is a whole lot of water to bail out.

No doubt they'll do what they did at places like Abingdon and build fences in all the wrong places on the premise that 'light' aircraft don't need taxiways.

A big thank you and farewell to the two civvy ladies who ran the Guardroom for so many years. May they long remember that ex Sqn Ldr, Mr Angry about whom we so often shared reminiscences.

They tried to do something similar at Aldergrove. And found out the hard way. They never learn. On another note they knocked down the Old Rock Block, it was advised they get ATO in first to clear some possible ordinance that might have been left. Again they ignored, and only when a contractor showed up at the guardroom with said stuff did they stop for thought.
