Nice promo video just released by MOD RAF ...

The Royal Air Force deployed Typhoon, Tornado and E-3D aircraft to Red FLAG 14-1, Nellis Air force Base, Nevada.

And this promo from the Americans ...

I feel slightly duped, I was expecting a video about the RAF beating everyone else 14:1 at Red Flag, and when the RAF video starts I expected a voice over going "we got that one, and that one, and both of those, and that one....."

Nice vids all the same!

Why was the Wing Commander in the last clip wearing both RAF slides and US rank badges?

So that the Americans are aware of his seniority as a comparative rank.
