Im going to apply to the RAF when i graduate in 2 years time.

Im going to apply for a career as a pilot but if that doesn't work out then I'd happily be a Nav or ATC or Fighter Controller ......

I know that it's no good applying now as I'd be asked to begin the process within this financial year and I can't do that.

Im applying to a local University Air Squadron at the moment so if that works out then I'm sure that will help a lot, yes?

Any advice on the aptitude tests would be great, I do have a leaflet regarding them and seen a good website all about selection but any first hand info would be fantastic.

Although I'm no expert, one thing that gets said every time is that if you want to be a pilot, go for pilot and nothing else.

Sorry, I thought that there was a "wannabes" forum on PPRUNE.....

I am all for people asking for advice etc. but this forum seems to have nothing else on it at the moment! It is not called what it is for nothing.
