Good news down here in Pensacola. The lack of the Blues has hurt the local economy and not helped the Museum of Naval Aviation either.

It will be good to see the Angels back in the sky but the Thunderbirds might as well just stay on the ground; they've got to take the Worldwide Diamond Award for prima donna bull**** versus actual display. Huge posers, crap performance and an ideal way of saving the US military some $$s by keeping them on the tarmac. Not so the Blue Angels (yes, posers, but a good display and great formation flying).

Agree, the Thunderbirds are stunningly boring but with even more boring flash.

Otoh the Blue Angels are just stunning.

After all the hype of the Thunderbirds appearing at RIAT a few years ago I have never been so disappointed than I was then, the Red's who displayed the same day were absolutely stonking despite having to do their flat display due low cloudbase, more like Blunderbirds than Thunderbirds
