RAAF howdoes the language proficiency allowance system work?

This is about additional allowance and is not only for RAAF pilot but also for all ADF personnel. How does this ADF allowance system work?

This a fairly old system dating back to 1992 in which serving members who can speak certain languages well are paid a proficiency allowance.

The rate varies depending on the language difficulty and the ability of the applicant to meet those standards.

Google will allow you to access the whole RAAF docuement and shows the rates involved.
