Have found the answer - they are indeed enlarged:

From Thunder & Lightnings' Hawker Hunter history site:
The F.58 was essentially an FGA.9, but with Sidewinders and enlarged Sabrinas holding chaff and flare dispensers.

Just a quick question for those in the know.

Why the 899 NAS Mailed Fist on the tail? Was that this aircraft's last serving squadron?
