Sorry RR, as a military aviator I thought I was entitled to post within this forum? T'was only meant as some light-hearted Yuletide banter, there's many another thread in here not strictly limited to military aviation. The clue is in the title 'Military Aircrew'. Merry Christmas.

I didn't apply for it.
I've read between the lines on a few occasions, but I don't own glasses capable of that magnification.

Life outside of the military is very different, and folks who can bull**** well seem to get ahead in many roles, but a good military mind and positive attitude will always be a winning combination IMHO.

You say you are new here. As one of my flight's nearly-end-of-tour Fg Offs told the green shield stamp Flt Lt to whom I assigned him as his mentor, "Don't you forget it",when the GSS officer introduced himself to his mentor by saying, "I'm new here".
