Great crowd though - 62000+
Wonder why none of the big media orgs didn't pick up on such a major sporting event.

V G,

It was live on Sky Sports (arguably the home of live rugby, seeing as terrestrial channels aren't interested) via the "red button", and I've read the report in The Sunday Times today, so it couldn't really get much better coverage.

Wot? no CRABS?

Sadly did'nt make it this year but was there last year when the Navy beat a team with less Fijians. That said the quality of rugby has improved over the years.
Always a great day out, good banter and good sport.
Anyone know the scores (or care!) against the RAF in the tri service competition?

Unhappy

In the Sky commentary they kindly mentioned that the Army won 52-0 and the Navy won 52-3, at least they scored!

For 20mins we were all over them. Fantastic passing, great ambition and flawless moves
Looked like the All-blacks vs Fiji

Unfortunately, somebody then stole their mojo and it became Fiji vs the USA second team.

Bugger.
Still, the drinking was good. I think we still won that.

The army (er Fiji's) support play was fantastic. The Navy's start, brilliant. I just wish I had drunken my self into oblivion at 10 nil up. The Navy definately missed their Worcester bound winger, but not even he would have made that much of a diference. Though I was very disapointed with the way the ref continually allowed the army to kill the ball in the ruck. A very grey area but fair play to them. You should always adapt your game to how the ref sees it.

All in all I had a great day, but not as good as last year.
