I wouldn't want to bother a man like this with my presence.

However. I have the book and loved it. My kids (for once) took this ageing git at his word and watched it. And were moved. You can't ask for more.

He certainly wouldn't be bothered by your presence boguing, he's very affable and would be very happy to chat. Mind you, having seen him chafing at the bit in a queue to pay his bill at the RAF club reception a few year's back I suspect he still doesn't suffer fools!
