814 NAS global 86 Reunion

There is a move afoot to have a get together for all who served on 814NAS for the global 86 deployment.

The present Cdr at Culdrose is hoping to combine it with the Summer Ball and hopes that as many ex 86 tigers will be able to attend on 24th July.

If you would like more details then email [email protected]

''The best job the FAA has had for the last ten years and possibly the next ten years too'' to quote the Admiral in charge of this jaunt.

He wasn't wrong!!

Ooops

Being an analogue man in a digital world I got the email wrong.

it should read [email protected]

But then he is always jerry to us and probably jeremy when he's in trouble with his missus!

Cheers SE

I thought it was Global 43 because half the squadron didn't go due to the ship breaking down week one.

12 PSI spot on, in fact there was a cartoon in the Sun a day or so after Lusty limped back into Pompey showing a sailor with an Illustrious kitbag over his shoulder popping home to find his missus in bed with someone else!

I also recall there was a young Sailor who went home early just after we got back as he had been fighting the fire post gearbox explosion to find his Missus in bed with someone!!

Much sadness
