Always U/S in wilts - Ah right, we should judge how much work each service does in NI by the size of their equipment, that seems very fair. As to me becoming a crab, I would rather eat my nads than do that. All jobs suck occasionally, and from the crabs I have dealings with on a daily basis, theirs do just as much as the other 2 services. When I am down, my best therapy is chat with Crab SH mates and life just doesnt seem quite so bad afterwards. Thankfully it will get a whole lot better shortly in NI as my fishead comrades are going to be there. Suddenly life gets a whole lot better.. .. .Chinook - You are of course entitled to your opinion, one you put quite eloquently. Here is mine: You are a shining example of what the JHC has achieved towards jointery in its short term in office.. .. .*******lead - Thats very funny, and certainly better than Sorry Im Crap as the anagram of AAC. As to whether I should follow your advice and sod off, Im afraid old chap there is more chance of your world famous chinook expert AVM Day not getting his glass rimmed at the fast approaching 72 wind-up functions. . .. .As to allowing this thread to wander, where in the rules does it state that it is not allowed? Want another thread just for the inter-service banter?

jffni - I think they're not singing anymore because they've all stacked to the pub. I guess you're the only one around who does any real work. If you call spending all day over Holy Cross work.. .. .To the rest: Thanks for the back-up chaps.. .. .Finally, I still stand by what I said back at the top: It was an RAF crew that sorted things out (whatever the cause) and be it kg, pax, nm or all of the above the RAF does more in NI than the AAC.. .. .Anyway must go - off to JFK for a couple of days 'work'.

JFK!?!?! Now I'm Jealous!!..............Or B!. .. .Why do most people on this forum think everyone else is dis-satisfied with their jobs. And that by saying they are flying an Airliner now, will make everyone Green with Envy??.........................Oh, I know why. Cos most people on here are Crabs now!!

1 x pax paralysed from chest down; another quite poorly. Others relatively minor, depsite the state of the airframe. Aircrew OK.

Sad to hear about a few of the pax but glad to hear no fatalities. Seen the phots on the SAFRAC site of the cab and looks 'a bit' of a mess. Shame the photographers didn't feel the humility to help out as opposed to taking mindless 'propoganda snaps'. Must be worth it though as there is a war going on down there.. .. .Sympathies go out to the pax.
