Can anyone help

Have been asked my the mother inlaw to try and research one of her relatives.
He was one Robert Harold Rose think spelling correct, first world war and possibliy WW2 Pilot some research might have him on 104 Sqn in WW1. Think he was RAF but might of started out in RNAS or RFC before RAF conception. If anyone has any more info or any sensible places to look please advise....

2Lt R H Rose was the pilot of DH 9 D7205 of No 104 Sqn, Independent Force RAF, with 2LT E L Baddeley as observer, when he was shot down and captured after combat with several enemy aircraft during a bombing raid on railways at Metz-Sablon on 15 September 1918.
