Jaguar GR3 help
I have been tasked to rob a main undercarriage door from a defunct Jaguar GR3. The doors are closed (and gear is down)which is normal config. Is there a manual release to drop the door so I can get to the nuts on the inside? As I mentioned this a/c not in service with no hydraulics/electrics or anything. What I need to find is a mechanical release lever and some sort of hand pump facility. Any advice ?
Anything like this? : http://www.pprune.org/military-aircr...ch-advice.html
Bit more of a problem this time as there is an uplock on the fuselage at the front of the MLG bay, which both main doors latch onto.
You will have to wriggle in the bay to get to it - so I'd support the lower door with something first.
Lock will need hyd pressure to open it, but you may be able to remove the locking roller or its bracket from the door.
Even more luck with this one !
... forgot to add, there are then the three hinge points to the fuselage and actuating rod bolts to remove.
