Pontius - total respect! Not many Navs could pull out a K2 from a Kiev in that murk. You'd do well in the current Stasi recce test, the example above would be one of the easier ones! Anyway, just for you, one from the archives - bonus marks for the oiler and the Captains name.

The Chilikin will be Dnestr, it was always Dnestr.

The Victor is 55sqn XH650.
Probably taken on Sept 22 1972.
Was a single Bear D.

We had 2 Bears on July 17th same year in XH587.
No photo's.

I hesitate to ask what the bloke in the Bear is engaged in. Whatever it is, it seems to involve him grimacing in pain and being pressed firmly against the plexiglass. How bizarre.
