Marham Monday/tuesday

RESIDENTS around RAF Marham are being forewarned that a jet will be flying low over the area on Monday (May 12).
The jet will be taking part in a sunset ceremony at the station and will be in the air at 7.20pm.

Earlier in the day, increased air activity is planned including a simulated airfield attack between 1pm and 1.30pm.

On Tuesday (May 13) there is also planned to be increased activity and a simulated attack between 12.50pm and 1.10pm.

Typical isn't it - no thought for the crew.

They will miss Lunch and Dinner on the Monday, as well as Lunch on Tuesday.

Glad I was in Eating Command.

As it is Marham, could they please carry out a real and not simulated airfield attack?

No doubt someone will be there photographing yet another Tornado at low level. I can't wait to see the photo's on here and I am also looking forward to discussing the types of cameras used.
1.4G,

If you don't like then don't look! Simple as! Did it ever cross your mind that the aircrew of that 'yet another Tornado' might actually like a copy of it?

Cheers

As one of many groundcrew who toil long and blooming hard to generate these particular Aircraft, I for one am always happy to see photos of them in the air, also as a (very) amateur photographer it's always good to get advice from those with more skill/experience than me and see what equipment others are using. It also gives people such as myself the oppertunity to show our work here. Every topic I have seen that includes photos members have taken always generates a good response, apart from the odd comment. I recently sourced a photo of him flying for a former Sqn OC who was promoted and posted to fly a desk. He has the photo framed and it hangs proudly on the wall of his office, he even wrote a personal letter of thanks to the Gentleman who took it.

I took this a couple of months ago

Incedently, it was a Canon EOS 400d.

Hi P_J,

Nice shot! I hope you don't mind. A little bit of sharpening and noise reduction in Photo Shop should hopefully bring it to life! Most digital images will be flat straight out the camera and need a little post processing.

Cheers
