Ok, just a little more...is it true that the USN has both commissioned and non-commissioned Warrant Officers?

Cheers..FD..

Warrant Officers are commissioned at Chief Warrant Officer 2 in the United States Navy. There are no Warrant Officer 1s (appointed officers not non-commissioned officers) in the US Navy.

I beg to differ. I know of at least three who are currently serving in the US Navy.

There have been no WO1s appointed in the US Navy since 1975. Royal Navy exchange WO1s fill Master Chief billets.

Well, it appears you know nothing about the American Military rank system. You know even less than brick person and that is saying something.

Either the standard of conduct and behaviour for Military professionals has been abandoned or there are some trolls here looking for Jetblast. Sad state of affairs when a reasoned discussion is truly a thing of the past, probably fits right in with today's societal norms.
