Logbook for ex military pilots

Hi guys, I am an ex military pilot (Hellenic Airforce) and I have a UK CPL. I did my ATPL skills test, and send the paperwork to UK CAA for upgrating to an ATPL (A). The problem is that I started logging my flight hours only last february when I quit the airforce, and I have an official document from The Hellenic Airforce general staf that states my flight hours during my 18 years of service (4000+ total, 2500+ PIC, 3000+ multi (Hercules).
Unfortunately UK CAA needs all the original logbooks, so I need some advice if any of you had a similar issue.

Thanos - as soon as UK military pilots start flying training they are issued with a logbook in which they record details of every flight. Each month, quarter and year it is signed by a senior officer to acknowledge that it is correct. This is the book that they can then present to the CAA to confirm their hours.

It seems hard to imagine that you do not have a similar record of your flying?
