There is of course, a former member of the 216 Comet Club still serving at Lyneham, though I doubt 'Saggy' will be able to attend without the help of crash and smash and a couple of low loaders!

Sorry to intrude but my first ever flight in an airliner, at the tender age of 3, was an RAF Comet to RAF El Adam in Africa, via Malta in 1961. Back again in 1964. Happy days!
