How odd that we are all of a sudden ready to hand back control of Basra, no doubt freeing up a certain number of troops, on the same day that Bush is going for one last push in Baggers.

Us handing Basrah back has been on the cards for a while. And Bush has always been a chimp with no concept of when to give in and accept defeat.
Sorry to spoil the conspiracy party, but eventually our plans and his dreams were going to happen simultaneously at some point in this fiasco.
