Their 'in pictures' shows a Type 23, HMS Norfolk and then talks about Type 22s! It then proceeds to show HMS Fearless, which has been mothballed for years.

They also trot out the then and now comparisons with Cruisers x and now zero etc.
This overlooks the fact that all modern frigates and destroyers are the size of WW2 light cruisers and the present Frigates (small ship) are actually bigger than the Destroyers (bigger ship).
To properly compare they should actually compare ships of similar tonnage with all modern Frigates and Destroyers capable of the old Cruiser role of independent open ocean patrol.
You could even throw the SSNs into the comparator as they too are modern cruisers in both size and role albeit they are unsuited to guardship duties.
