BFBS Interview

Did anyone else happen to catch the interview on BFBS news a few days ago where a 1* got a real grilling from the broadcaster about the "Poor" state of the RAF AT fleet? Something to do with it taking 56 hours to get some troops back from the Gulf iirc, and some of them missing the birth of their babies beacuse of the delays. You could hear the laughs from our crewroom from the other side of the building apparently! Have been trying to find it on the interweb but have not managed as yet.

How scary, a grilling from a BFBS broadcaster! They're real experts on aviation matters aren't they so I bet that 1* was really put in his place.........NOT

"Well, the trouble is, is the Chief of the Defence Staff and the others have said that we must protect our troops to the highest possible standard and that's what we always aim to do"

The trouble? And you only aim to protect your troops?

A400M 'Loadmaster' in 2010? Yeah, right......

The JFH Cdr has lost his suntan by being in the desert- how did that happen? Does the shop not sell spray-on tan?

Loved the quote from the SAMO that it was only the second weather delay he had experienced, "and that's really this week"- BRILLIANT!- how did that get through??

56 hours to get home is basically unacceptable! When will the higherarchy acknowledge it and do something to fix it...

Air Cdre Stringer denying that we are overstretched! Should he be redressed by everyone in the Forces for honesty and integrity?

Moan over, back to fighting the war...
