Clarkson combines car review with RAF rant

Not too bad in his own special way:

Text as follows:

Edited. The link is sufficient. Especially as the topic is covered elsewhere. Scroggs.

Read that today (wouldn't a link have sufficed?)

It's a little exagerated, of course, but that's his style - however, the core meaning hits a home run.

When you measure it against what else is visible, such as the nonsense going on in defence procurement, it's the harsh truth with humour.

I wonder who has been feeding him this information? As a car hack he seems reasonably well informed. Or he's been reading PP for the last couple of months.

Nice to see he's given Blair etcl something else to gag on whilst eating his morning cereals. That is of course if those turds were to care one iota.

He's got some good contacts I'd have thought from the number of times he's come into direct contact, plus those he knows who are ex.

Well said JC: a superb piece of writing that makes the point savagely, then puts it all in the wider political context even more savagely. Maybe we should have him as the next prime minister when the current encumbrance (or was that incumbent) has gone?

I wonder if anyone has approached Clarkson to venture overseas with a CSE show? I'm sure he could be the new forces sweetheart with comments like these.

Maybe not the hairsuit one in powebut it would be nice to see a straight talking no nonsense PM at last. I don't agree with the blokes policies but the last and most decent MP was Tony Benn, at least that guy said what he meant and stuck to his principles, shame he was on the wrong side though.

Oh, and please make sure that link gets around, after all 3000 or so stinking pinko lefties signed up against him receiving his honorary degree.

Clarkson once again hi the nail on the head, the British forces are the best trained in the world, were just underfunded, they get the least funding in the governments budget of the major areas
