R.A.F. Abingdon-Still active?

Drove past yesterday on the A34, and thought I caught sight of a small a/c on the ground. No possibility of slowing down for a proper look on that particular death highway.

Brought back memories of London U.L.A.S back in the 70's. Still operational?

Roy
Abingdon airfield is still active with Grob Vigilants of 612 VGS(& possibly a couple of civvie light aircraft???).
Military helicopters also use the airfield during the week and if I may be excused a shameless plug, the airfield is also home to a very successful Air & Country Show every May-Day Bank Holiday

Plus about 18 months ago, a Beech Sundowner force landed with it's gear up having lost all electrics!
