Sqn Crests

Guys,
I'm after some help, it's my Dads 60th coming up and as an FE he served on 36, 47 and 48 Sqn, now I seem to remember in the distant past that their was a company that would mount a series of Sqn badges in a presentation case but I can't remember who it was, anyone got any clues?
Also anyone at Lyneham have the contact details of the jewellers in Calne who does all the engraving, as I may be after a 47 Sqn decanter (I got a nice one from LXX when I left but have forgotten details of jewellers)
Ta very much

BG, do you mean you want to get the three badges and get them mounted or you have the three badges and you want them mounting?

Or do you mean the wooden painted crests?

If it is cloth badges mounted which you already have then a competent framer will be able to cut the badge outline and mount them for you.

If you need the badges too then I guess someone will advise.

If it is the 'standard' wooden crest then CH Munday can provide - 6-8 weeks and about £36 each. Mounting as a set might be possible.

I do mean the cloth badges, I am trying to locate them individually and if necessary I will get them mounted myself but I seem to remember a company that offered the whole service in one.

Mike, Thanks for that I seem to remember that was the place, I used to run the leaving gifts on LXX but foolishly didn't keep a note of the jewellers No.

There's a seller on eBay called wavey29 who does lots of the gold embroidered badges and also deals in art stuff.

Try a search, if he can't do it then I'm sure he'd have contacts.

I've bought from him before and he seems to be a good egg.
