London Marathon

Can I offer my thanks to all the RAF (and the other services) personnel that helped out all us runners last Sunday. Your help (presumably from Uxbridge?) was much appreciated, especially given the rather inclement weather. I know most of the chaps there weren't aircrew, so may not see this, but I hope someone can disseminate my thanks. A shame you had to cover the uniforms with those nameless-sports-company jackets - but hope you got to keep them though!

Thanks again.

Could anyone confirm if the chap who was planning to run the marathon in Basrah at the same time as his colleagues in London were running actually did it?

I shall pass on your thanks to my friends in the lovely sports coats. They are more than happy to do things "for charity mate"

A fantastic day, helped enormously by the boys in light blue. Thank you very much. Jade Goody managed to keep clear of the WMB yet again by her overweight, inane, chavesque and cellulite fuelled chat and banter.
