Nige - I'll be there. For any F4 aviators who haven't been before - top day. Loads of mates from all eras - mudmoving & AD. All seem to merge by mid afternoon - see y'all there

Talking

It won't be hard to find, will it? Just go to the centre of town on the 11th and listen for the BLAH...
Alternatively, take an AI radar with you. Switch it on, they'll centre the spike and find you.

More dated, but nevertheless still amusing, banter later.

And when debriefing this attempt at wit, don't shout!
Have a great Tactics Discussion chaps.

An aircraft full of character flown by some great RAF characters performing it to its' limits in all the fighter/bomber/recce roles with great success.

Deserves to be a fun day - and the "blah" will be worth listening to - even for the WIWOLs.

Alternatively simply wander around London and when you find that your SA starts being innexplicably drained....you're there!

P.S. How many F4 mates does it take to change a light bulb?

100...... 1 to change the bulb and 99 to tell you how good the old one was.

I never flew the F4 but I know all the stories... can I come?

Taking cover........

There are still F4 mates around from long before that unfortunate day - like the F4 they go on and on - and no doubt will at the F4 TDPU.

It's a fair cop, Widger. You've got to have character to fly an F4 off a carrier!

Have you tried John Eacott? - not only does he have suitable web server space, but he also can edit and compress to a more manageable size.

You can PM him from Pprune.

I had the distinct pleasure of seeing some wonderful old buddies on Friday. Quite a few made the Cenotaph beforehand and stayed well into the evening when The Flag was ringing out loud and clear across Whitehall. Top event.

See you all next year.
