Archimedes,

Yes, I do mean the small horse-like dog. No he didn't go to coffee, just stayed on the top floor at the west end. I think his master was only there for a month or two anyway.

Happy Days. I used to bring my German Shepherd to work at a certain airbase in Lincolnshire. He had Fg Off tapes on his collar, a neat tag with the number 48 on it ( RAF Police insisted, security you know) and loved the ground crew, even though he couldn't eat a whole one.

All part of the air force culture a few years ago.

Dunno, but if he went out on the pi$$, stumbled home at 4am, puked in the sink then farted in bed all night would he be in the errr........Humanhouse the morning after?

I'm surprised this thread isn't bigger given that you folks keep your beloved dogs at home and send your kids to boarding school at age 6!!

Seem to remember in the late seventies the MT section at St Athan use to go out and bring back buss loads of dogs on a thursday night for the JRM knees up... God were they RUFF!
