Cool Lyneham Flying Club?

Anyone have any contact details for Lyneham's flying club?

Didn't know they had a flying club but they appear on the RAF Flying Club Association web without details yet.

Anyone know what aircraft they have?

Aeronut,

Might be a bit of a problem at the moment as rumour in the bar has it that the aircraft they lease is being sold by its owners. Pity if it's true as prices now are similar to BZN's club. I know BEagle was involved in helping the Lyneham guys get going, I'm sure he'll post if he knows more!

If you get no joy with Lyneham, you may wish to consider Middle Wallop and the Army Flying Association. Open to all members of HMF with tres cheap prices.

Hope this helps.

Aeronut,

I tried today to get in touch with the treasurer (as he seems more reliable than the OiC) but no answer, so I'll send his contact at work as a PM until I know I can post freely.

Sorry to be retentive, but privacy and all that, hope you understand.
