Ascot c/s Twin Squirrel

Whilst transitting through a MATZ last week, I heard an Ascot c/sign, say he was a Twin Squirrell.

I didn't realise that the RAF had any of these, can anyone enlighten me?

Thanks

32 (The Royal) Sqn at Northolt have 3 Twin Squirrels, along with a few HS125s and Bae 146s - all for VIP use.

We have had them for a few years now. I believe they are Contractor-Owned, Military-Operated (COMO).

Thanks chaps - it was en route to Long Stratton, there is a privately owned strip there.

Hardly a secret - it transmitted its c/sign and type on a VHF freq!

Take a note Miss Moneypenny:

"Irony is not always comic".

I know it's not a secret, hence inverted comas, smiley, etc. I was however surprise that seeing as 32 had operated the birds for such a while that it was news.......

The only Smudger in SH that I know of is newly resident in the Emerald Cats Home. Whilst there may be more then one smudger in this world, there can only be one over here having been born in far far away.

Well this large smudger used to have a green head and is, I believe with the rotary ascot callsigns having recently been a more amphibious sort of a bloke.
The name Atherstone would be familiar to him!!
