Has there been any mention of an accelerated command for people with lots of narrowbody command experience, like EK have?

Upgrades will be only on A320.

14/14 you need to sort your own tickets to/from home country, either staff travel, Zed tickets or buy confirmed on other airline.

Just did the 1st interview.. Really a strange setup. I would do some motivational talking exercises with chatgpt or just record yourself to be comfortable in that way. The 5 ATPL questions was basic stuff.. What happens with your takeoff run if weight increases etc etc.

Forget it,
Got this info directly from the management, initially foreigners will be needed but do not expect anything like EK.
Pilots talent pool is big in Saudi Arabia.
Arab nationals are preferred given the affinity in culture.
As for the upgrade, fast track will be made only to locally based pilots coming from other airlines with experience operating in the region, when and which fleet was not specified.
Package all in all is not that different from the other big 3 if you monetize every benefit. Riyadh air gives you cash upfront, EK and the rest give you allowances, accommodation, discounts and benefits...

Lets share information here so it is useful for everyone.

For me was mostly definitions, turbulence, V1, isobars and what to do when you encounter volcanic ash.
Basically the same questions as you can find on the PASS pilot assessments website.

I got these: Memory items-Unreliable airspeed, stabilizser.

Tell us about yourself. Where was your flight training?

Explain how HOT works? What is the difference between B777 and B787 unreliable airspeed?

Tell me a time you flew with a difficult senior FO?

Why are you coming to Riyadh Air? Will your family stay in your country or will move to Riyadh?

Very relaxed, about 30min.

More cases are in this biggest group which is in telegram - search RiyadhAirPilot inside, or //t.me/riyadhairpilot

Hi everyone. When do we find out which aircraft type we’ll be assigned to? Do they inform us in advance? I’m type rated as an A320 and A330/A350 First Officer, and I’m a current ATR47 PIC. Are these qualifications enough to be eligible for the 787 FO position even though my experience is mainly on Airbus, or is it more likely that they would place me on the A321? And one last question: if we fail, how long do we have to wait before getting another chance?

Is the 14/14 roster a real thing? Or still a rumor?

i don't believe any of this numbers until it reflects in thier website, same for the pay

Could 14/14 become 28/28 for longer range commuting?

F14 26th November 2025 10:46

Any word on School Fees ?

SOPS 26th November 2025 13:59

You people are all funny. Before there was any salary structure announced, people were posting about… “if you have to commute and buy your own tickets, it won’t matter on the huge salary on offer “. Trouble was, there was no salary on offer.

Now we have questions about increased time off ( 28 on 28 off) and School fees. Either ask at an interview, or call them. Anything on here appears to be total speculation :

Is it fixed 14/14 ? Can you do back to back? Do they pay for your tickets to go back home or will they offer like zed tickets?

Any Updates to T/Cs info?

Hi everyone,

I'm an experienced A320 TRE and considering this as a commuting gig. Can anyone provide an update to the details already posted above with more certainty, ie someone who has a copy of an offer? I know this is probably a far fetched request, but hey don't ask don't get! TIA

MCDU2 26th January 2026 15:12

There's a YouTube video up purportedly using information from offer letters. The youuber states commuting only once "probation" period completed (could be up to a year) and subject to availability. Think there is a pay cut associated with it as well. All in all LHS deal is nothing like what was first reported a few years back and not unsurprising I guess.

I love how they have flown fantasy flights for the last 3 months, just wait until the eco warriors discover that they are drilling holes in the sky with empty aircraft.
