Vikas10 28th August 2025 09:59

Hello. Hope you’re doing well. Were you able to get any information about the 15 minutes assessment? I received the email 2 days ago.

greecer 29th August 2025 08:30

Hello Guys,

Any one complete the 15 min interview? Whats it all about? I heard it is merely and AI Bot gathering experience and background info, thereafter categorizing applicants, to save them on the manpower requirements of sifting through hundred of CV's. This Unconfirmed so any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks in Advance

Bravo_Alpha 29th August 2025 11:18

Some friends of mine received email even if they have no hours on widebody as PIC, but many as PIC on narrow body (737). Anyone else?

Second stage?

I have been reading couple pilots on forums that are asking for tips for the “Technical Interview” (Not the 15 min online assessment) So I was wondering if any of you guys did the 15 min online assessment and got a response mail for the next step? Thanks

Hi. I used to make between $15.000 and $17.000 net, every month at flynas. Lived in a hotel close to the airport and paid around $2.500 full board every 20 days (commuting contract 20x10)… of course had to check out every 20 days and keep my bags in the storage room. Then, I paid full fare tickets to my country because the ID Travel was not the best one for me. Finally, I got around 11k-12k in my hand after all the expenses which is not the best salary in the world but I guess it was a decent one.
However, I didn’t like KSA. Wouldn’t go back there, ever. Now I’m happy back home flying for a legacy airline and enjoying time with my family,

I everyone!
The initial online assessment @ Riyadh Air consists of a 3 steps, 15 minutes process.
1. Motivation: 2 questions (why Rihadh,..), 6 minutes
2. Tech ATPL: 5 questions, 3 minutes (very basic)
3. English speaking assessment (introduce yourself,..): 2 minutes.
You're talking to a nice robot, while being video taped. You can pause between each exercice, and you select yourself when the recording starts. They're suggesting you to use Chrome, I did it on Safari, all good as well.
Fairly nicely organised!
Enjoy!

Yap, that's confirmed ..... 59 is the age limit....at least until they can find enough crew to fulfill their operations (future)...

Is there any insight into the specific tech ATPL questions in order to prepare for them? Thanks in advance.

Hi, I completed stage 1 already and can confirm that there are 5 ATPL questions.
They are broad of topics, it seems mostly performance, powerplants and meteo.

I would recommend to subscribe to PASS as you will find all questions there:
https://pilotassessments.com/riyadh-...ot-assessment/

I also completed Stage 2 and 3 which was the Symbiotics assessment and online interview, as well included and similar as PASS.

Anyone else now awaiting their simulator assessment?

I doubt there is a single airline in Europe that pays that much from day 1. Maybe if you work for some legacy for 30 years you reach this level. We are talking 25-28k USD NET which means 50k USD gross if you wanted to take the same home.
14/14 in some countries would work as there is double taxation agreements.
What this is not going to attract are senior pilots in ME with established life and descent salaries.
To me there is no money that would make me move there. Literally.
Commuting is a different story but that's only a carrot there.

Said after applying, and being given an unsuccessful verdict.

Or simply he lived in the ME long enough to find out there is no free "lots of money ".

cool&thegang 2nd November 2025 10:26

Has there been any mention of an accelerated command for people with lots of narrowbody command experience, like EK have?

Thesikhpilot 2nd November 2025 13:18

Nope. Since it's a new company which is going to establish operations soon. They might come up once they expand.
