Dubai any opportunities...?

Hi, I’m looking to go to Dubai in a near future to see what is happening there.
In Europe it's pretty crowded at the moment.
I'm not very qualified and I don't have any jet flight time.
Does any one could tell me which kind of company I could find on place and eventually a good place for a cheap stay (I know it's difficult there).

To stay: there is a a lot of furnished accomodation and the cheap budget hotels, which are pretty basic.
You can also stay in Sharjah which is a lot cheaper but commuting into DXB from there is a nightmare.
