BA drops Bahrain

Cripes, having had my Gulfair Retirement gift of Staff Travel taken away after I dared to speak up, I see BA are cancelling services to Bahrain as from early Spring, 2025.

Note to FanBase : Might not be able to make it over for the annual re-union at Hunters. Might need to host something here !

Does stopping going to Bahrain mean stopping going to Doha too ?

Dave; can't say with certainty but the article I read, Daily Fail, i think did mention other Middle East routes like Qatar & Emirates.

Shame that. BA300 Inaugural pax service to BAH operated by a Concorde 21st January 1976.

Ok. It is the Mail, but they are reporting that the flights are back on. Plans to scrap them have been dropped.

Ooooh good. Re-union back on. Likely they did decide on cancelling the routes but like so much in BA management at the moment, knee-jerk rather than careful strategy. U-turns-order of the day. Othe ME carriers would have jumped in at the void anyway.

Hunters Lodge in the Souk. Infamous hostelry for serious party animals. Nothing to do with the Masons.
