Etihad Pilot Opening

Hi,

I recently heard that, Ethihad will open pilot positions in the coming months. Will there be any positions for new pilots? I am trying hard to find my job with no luck. Being an Indian and with FAA license struggling a lot.

If you are a 250 hr pilot then forget it. They hire only experienced jet pilots and the requirements are clearly mentioned on their website.

If you are an indian then try converting to DGCA license and try your luck in India.

Conversion

Converting to DGCA is a tedious process. I tried, but getting a computer number is really tough

If getting a computer number is a tedious process, filling up the details on Etihad website would be next to impossible. The form is multiple pages, involves a lot of typing.

For majority of people nothing comes easy in aviation let alone in life. There are 1000s of pilots who have successfully converted their license to DGCA every year. So I would suggest you to put in the effort and make sure you have all the documents ready and be prepared for the conversion.

Like I mentioned in a previous post Etihad wont hire foreginers without jet experiences even if they hire you there are challenges to be faced in your career and you need to be prepared for it.

DGCA process

I didn’t mean that, applying is tedious process, I applied for the computer number as that is the first process, but it got rejected.

I understand the complexity on the Etihad. I will try again with DGCA.

Moreover, I have seen the openings of new pilot in Cathy Pacific and HKexpress. Not sure how it works.

Ahh mate you have cracked the case! You found the right answer you can join HK express or Cathay and then after some time apply to Etihad.

Wow you cracked the code man. Well done and enjoy your career.
