Hello guys
Do anyone know how to amend application if it has been already submitted ? Should i withdraw it or any other options? Need to correct some information about last job there.

It is best to email the recruitment team explaining the mistake, perhaps even attach your CV with the correct information in the email. All the best.

QR & EY have 500 hours as their prerequisite was the point I was making. I fly a heavy jet but am shy on 2000 hours.

Does Beechcraft 1900, Twin otter, Let 410 and Cessna Caravan time are considered in the turboprop time for EK? Or only ATR and above? I also have 300 hrs Jet time.

Why is it that with a forum clearly marked EK application with 650,000+ posts that you are asking whether your turboprop time is valid on a forum clearly marked EK rumor mill.

EK we are told is not having any problems recruiting pilots! Yet the requirements are decreasing all the time! You can tell how desperate they are for pilots, applicants just have to have a heartbeat, must just about be able to speak English, be just about able to fly an aircraft and must not care how they get treated as long as they can sit in a big jet! The lower the requirement = the level of desperation! 500 hours at the other airlines is serious!

and still hundreds of ex EK pilots who have been made redundant have not been asked to come back, nor they received an answer to their application on rejoining - that tells it all.

Hi guys, I am a new joiner and asking in Emirates do they have salary increase increment every year?
I saw in pilot career centre that the salary increase every year you stay in the company, is that correct?

There are steps worth 3% every year however they are at the discretion of the company and they have in the past gone years without any step increases.

So they need 600 pilots but losing around 200 a year! So in effect need 800!!

Question - On pilot referral photo they’ve changed it from 2 locals to 2 non locals! And it say refer friends and ex- colleagues !! You mean the ones that got sacked and were not rehired!!

PS How did guy (PL - NZ) in A380 pilot referral photo in LHS manage to get there?? I thought he left company to start up a flight school which failed(?) so how did he managed to get back in on A380 he was 777!! Anyone clarify that?

Anyone else think it’s ironic they have sent out a survey on roster satisfaction when bid assist have been telling them every month for countless months what the problems are!! Also they’ve been told at the few pilot forums what we think of it!
do they really think that by filling in a survey all
will be put right!!
I hope everyone fills it in to show them how poor the roster system is (it’s wonderful IF you’re that B777 FO, getting rostered uk flights all the time!)

I remember a certain survey carried out when I was there. It was for ALL employees. It was when EK was trying to join “ The Best 50 Companies in the World to Work For Group”, ( or something like that.)

The results were so bad, they were never released and the whole thing was buried.

Sums the place up doesn’t it. When they don’t like the reality they just make it disappear!

I must say that I’m impressed with how many restrictions they can put to stop you swapping. It’s very impressive. In fact, it might be the most impressive part of the company.
Unless you’re also that 380 FO, who only goes to Mauritius.
