Hi guys. I need the latest info regarding the theory exams and more importantly how to prepare for them. It has been 5 years since I graduated high school so I definitely need some prep classes? Does institute provide them?

share any details you can about the interview and the topics they go into.

I have all the general course related info(available on website) need info related to exams and interviews

How’s the salary looking like these days?
what is the salary during 1500 hours?
what is the salary just after 1500 hours?

Current scenario

Need some latest info in this thread. There’s a lot of negative info from covid times. Can recent graduates provide the latest picture regarding job contract, salary and training experience.

in 2024 they started batches on every alternating month. This wasn’t happening before. That means number of cadets enrolling has increased and conditions have improved.
i want to know how the training conditions and permanent contracts have been.

They have ordered more planes. So, what the current salary scenario looks like. All this seems pretty good news after covid times

Just because they are doing more batches has nothing to do with pay and conditions. The same with more planes. The company may be doing better but that won't magically make them pay more.

Apply and ask all those questions during the interview.

As of now its closed. They have a lot of people on the wait list for interview, lots of people who finished interview but not the GCAA exams, people waiting to start TR & people who finished TR waiting to start LT with arabia. To improve your chances, finish your 14 GCAA subjects first & then get in touch with them.

They will consider your performance during LT. You'll get a contract depending on that. No salary before contract but you might get a small allowance at company's discretion not a must. Quality of training is good as rest of uae carriers.

The backlog you mentioned, is it for the CPL program or for the Cadet Program or both?
Also do you recommend clearing GCAA exams before applying to the cadet program as well? Will it fasttrack the timeline and reduce cost or will I still have to go through the ground classes phase?

For CPL as far as i know. The cadet prog. is for people without a license. Its an MPL & you start from zero. I don't know if someone can take GCAA subjects if they are not part of a course or have an existing license and doing exams as part of a conversion. That works for a modular course which the cadet program is not.

I managed to get on a call with Alpha Aviation, they said for the time being, only MPL is being offered and that CPL program has been closed for a while.

Has anyone done the Type Rating program ? How long did it take from completing the TR to starting as a SO. I'm applying with a CPL, not doing their MPL program.
