Ken,
I am sorry that you feel that way about QR. However, I do entirely understand your point of view ref comments regarding the bullying style of management.
However, your comments regarding the use of QR crew as "prostitutes at parties" is very much misguided and out of place on this forum.
Whether this is true or not is another matter. But, by making the comments that you have just done gives the entire Qatar Airways Cabin Crew contingent a very unpleasant and bad name, which most of them (99.9%) do NOT deserve. Most of the crew work extremely hard and very well. I doubt if any of them fall into the category that you have described.
Please, think of your former colleagues out here in Doha and think again about what you have just implied about them. Totally unfair of you to make this generalisation.
I don't work for the company, so I can easily take the flak from you and other Ppruners - water off a duck's back, so to speak.
But some of the hard-working cabin crew who have just read your post will be sick!!!!!
Don't you agree with me?
Anyway - you ARE entitled to air your opinion, so I immediately apologise here if I have offended you in any way here in my reply.
But.......

QR Mgmt
Hi,
I do agree about the management style. It is what I call 'SMALL MAN SYNDROME'.
We have seen so many resignations this week from various managers. The news is the mgr ground services, airport mgr system wide, the planning manager & AGM darwish all have resigned.
This is poorly because of the Bahraini head of commercial, who comes across as a right 'prat and arse'! according to the rev mgmt guys, the airline is losing milions a month due to poor yields and excess capacity. from what we hear this GM is taking QR the same route as GF.
give it 2 more years before it becomes another GF or WY.
