Having fun in the UAE

World's longest zipline. Another fun thing to do in the Middle East playground.

I wonder if they have an upper weight limit or upper waist measurement????

They do, it's 150kg so I'd assume that'll discount most of our local UAE "friends"...

Well, it doesn't link to any zipline activity on my computer, nor indeed to the UAE. What I get from the link is:

"When summertime rolls around, we all love to hangout by the pool. And it turns out so did some of the folks at an ancient church in Israel." followed by an expansive article about the same.

So if that's the joke, it went over my head.

I think it’s just a mis-link. But seeing UAE locals hanging out at an Israeli pool next to an ancient church would certainly be newsworthy. Could be the answer to the Middle East peace process - just have a BBQ by the pool in a country you don’t officially recognise, and invite other religions along for a beer and a burger.

You see, pork and beer CAN be a good thing sometimes... ;-)

(waits for Millennials on Twitter to be offended at light humour...)

Slightly different, but Sacha Baron Cohen managed to get Mossad and Hamas to do this:

“Why are you so anti-Hamas? Isn’t Pitta bread the real enemy?”
