TC in the news...

https://www.aerotime.aero/en/civil/2...transformation

Curious what he really means with this quote...
In October, 2015, the Emirates Group announced it will embark on an enterprise-wide transformation strategy, with the goal to make the Emirates and dnata, the air services provider, the leading technology enabled travel experience enterprises.
The aim of the initiative was to place data at the core of the organization. In order to do that, the airline was going to examine new technologies and ideas, everything from big data and predictive analytics to artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, crowd sourcing and collaboration.

There is no compromise on the spend on technology and digital.
It’s a shame that he does not feel the same way about his Human Resources. Might be a bit of an old fashioned idea but happy employees might just make for a more efficient and safer operation but wat do I know. Keep rowing.

Whilst youre at it Tim can you free up some cash for a usable EFB platform. Anyone reading the article would think that Emirates is the leading light in airline technology. I suppose if it looks all shiny on the outside it must be the best. A shallow scratch below the surface would reveal what a disgrace anything to do with IT at Emirates is.

Its already hard to find replacement vacuum tubes (valves) for the EFB. What to do?

ACTUAL VIDEO FROM THE EFB USER MANUAL:

I think TC (like Montgomery Burns) is looking at some sort of Borg Collective model for the company going forward. You will be identified as "7 of 59" when presented with a warning letter.

Here is some 777 FMS ground school training video.

It wouldn't be a PPRUNE post without some AB/B bashing so lets get it over with now!

There was a well known Australian TRE on the Airbus that would expect an answer like that when asked to "quantify the sine wave coefficient bias clipped curve variation and relation to the local oscillator sub systems and radial differential and the effect of particle transformation and energy as a concept of light refraction."
