Probably they can make more as a wide body FO and have a better quality of life. Still $250,000 is not too shabby
Why won't they call me? I'll gladly fly a MD-80 for quarter million dollars a year to live in thee states. Sure beats Emirates.
the under a year upgrade is for a very undesirable MD-80 domicile...sort of a one-off

And BA strike breaking. I just lined up after a landing Qatari a320 "Speedbird"
That is actually a flight operated to repatriate pax left stranded down route after Monarch Airlines folded on Monday. Qatar have a few aircraft based in the UK for a couple of weeks, to assist in the 'airlift' as was hinted in a previous post.
