Lost and Found EK
Does anyone have the right number for lost and found at HQ?
My July roster appears to have gone missing. Thanks in advance. :ugh::ugh::ugh: |
Don't you need to have something first before it can go missing?

Learn to count to seven.
30-29-28-27-26-25-24 |
Thanks mate however for your benefit mate tomorrow is a Friday mate so they should have been out today. Would that be 7 as in 23-7? :ok:
|
Was expecting a roster today as well.

Don't you find it telling, that at crew arrivals, before going through "immigration" the "Lost Items" repository is a large Garbage Can? That does seem an appropriate place to find the missing rosters!

History
Wiz look and you'll see the rosters on a 30 day month come out the 23rd and for a 31 day month they come out 24th. Have a look in your inboxfor the last year (apart from the first month that they came out and they were early much to JA's e mail to tell us how much better and more efficient the new system was...only for the first month).
It's a July and with so many families away we only want to be able to try and make some plans. A roster is a huge part of our lives...the planners who make them still work sunday to thursday so it makes no difference to them as they already know what they're doing next month. And the month after. etc |
Sorry mate today is the 23rd and as you say put a 7 on that.
Gives you 23-7. Quite a nice ring to that eh?! |

The OM A doesn't say anything about weekends. Tomorrow is seven days, so that's when they are due.
Second, don't be a tool: 7 days before on a 30 day month is the 23rd. There is no arguing in that one. Tomorrow would be 6 days before the end of the month. (To be pedantic, more for your benefit then for mine, 7 days would be at midnight tonight, so they still have 4,5 hours to come up with a roster, tomorrow would be too late by the old rule) MR8 |
Wiz, first of all, the OM-A doesn't say anything... It USED to say 7 days before, but that has conveniently been removed as far as I remember. Second, don't be a tool: 7 days before on a 30 day month is the 23rd. 24th-1 25th-2 26th-3 27th-4 28th-5 29th=6 30th-7 Some of you really need some remedial maths. |

True, I stand corrected.
False. 24th-1 25th-2 26th-3 27th-4 28th-5 29th=6 30th-7 Some of you really need some remedial maths. I seem to remember APC has some discounts for summer classes for the kids, you might pick up a cheap math remedial there... MR8 |
They are still deciding on which flights to cancel for next month

Indeed... 7 days BEFORE the end of the month is BEFORE the 24th, hence the 23rd... As it always has been. If I give you 7 days notice, today is day one. Yes they usually beat that by a day or two, and then when they actually stick to the exact 7 days, threads like this crop up. So, they'd be better off just sticking to the 7 days, and not exceeding requirements, as it only causes people to whinge. Of course, that means we as a group have shot ourselves in the foot, but it wouldn't be the first time. |
Roster production dates for 2016
May 24 - (31 day month) Apr 23 - (30 day month) Mar 24 - (31 day month) Feb 23 - (29 day month) ... No comment ... Jan 24 - (31day month) I was expecting a roster in the inbox this afternoon. |

My July roster is out on foip, just select the arrow to take you to July. Works on mine anyway. 23+7=30 seems legit.

But even when it was in the OM-A, it didn't say that- it said with 7 days notice. If I give you 7 days notice, today is day one.
